Choosing collection at checkout can be a convenient way to receive your order, especially if you’re nearby, sending a driver or prefer to arrange transport yourself.
Before anyone sets off, there is one important thing to remember:
Please wait until we confirm that your order is ready for collection.
Your order confirmation means that we have received your order. It does not mean that the order has already been packed and is ready to collect.
Courier delivery works well for many orders, but it is not always the most practical option. Collection gives you more control over how your order gets from us to you.
It can be useful when:
Crinkle paper is lightweight but voluminous, so a larger order may take up considerably more space than its weight suggests. Arranging the right transport is therefore important.
If collection is available for your order, select it during checkout and complete your order and payment as normal.
Your order still needs to go through our normal preparation process. Depending on what you have ordered, this may include shredding, checking stock, packing individual packs, preparing cartons and checking the completed order.
Choosing collection does not mean the order is immediately available.
Please wait for a separate message confirming that your order is packed and ready for collection. Your original Shopify order confirmation only confirms that your order was placed. It is not your collection notification.
Once we have confirmed that the order is ready, you may collect it yourself or arrange for someone else to collect it on your behalf. Follow the address and collection instructions in your confirmation.
Collections are available Monday to Friday, 09:00–16:00, once your order has been confirmed ready.
If you are sending a driver or courier, allow enough time for them to arrive before 16:00. Avoid bookings that are likely to arrive right at closing time.
Yes. You can send a colleague, employee, friend, family member, Uber or another driver, or your own courier company.

Do not book the driver when you receive your initial order confirmation. Waiting for the separate ready-for-collection message helps you avoid paying for a driver who arrives too early.
Crinkle paper weighs relatively little for the amount of physical space it occupies, so a larger order can fill a vehicle surprisingly quickly. When arranging a ride, think about carton size and quantity rather than only the total kilograms ordered.
The driver should have your order number, your name or company name, and any collection instructions we sent you. This helps us identify the correct order when they arrive.
If you are unsure, ask us before booking. Once your order is packed, we can tell you how many cartons it contains, giving you a better idea of the vehicle space required.

Yes. If you already work with a courier company, or prefer to arrange shipping yourself, you are welcome to have them collect your completed order. Wait until we have confirmed that the order is ready before making the booking.
Give the courier:
Courier services may have limits on parcel dimensions, parcel count, weight, vehicle size or service area. Because crinkle paper is bulky relative to its weight, carton dimensions and quantity may be more useful than the kilogram weight alone.
If you arrange your own courier, the booking is managed directly between you and the courier company. This includes choosing and paying for the service, communicating with the courier and managing their arrival time.
Krinkle Paper Co will make the packed order available once it has been confirmed ready for collection.
Crinkle paper is designed to expand and create visual volume inside gift boxes, hampers and other packaging. That same feature means a relatively light order may still need substantial transport space.
When organising collection, ask: How many cartons are there, and will they physically fit in the vehicle?
That is often more useful than asking only how much the order weighs.
